The Tank Room High-Top is the standing table for the busy zone near the bar and along the tank-room glass, where guests stand with a flight or perch on bar stools between pours.
At 42 in (107 cm), the table matches standard bar height and pairs with 30 in (76 cm) bar stools. The top is a 27½ in (70 cm) square of soapstone-grey sintered stone: dark enough to hide rings and drips, non-absorbent so spilled stout wipes away, and tough enough for a cast-iron pizza pan.
High-tops get leaned on harder than any other table, often by someone with a full pint in the other hand. So the base is engineered for leverage, not looks: a heavy steel plate foot, a black steel column fixed through a reinforced plate, and a foot ring at footrest height. The ring gives standing and seated guests somewhere to put their feet and keeps boots off the column.
The table works singly, in pairs pushed together for a group of six, or in a line down the middle of a narrow taproom. A 36 in counter version is available for counter-height stools.
