A bold top on a simple base. The sintered stone is white with strong plum and slate veining, closer to a dramatic Italian marble than a plain countertop, and a thin smoked-copper band edges it. For a taproom this is the table that photographs well and still resists beer, because the surface is non-porous.
Two square timber posts in a walnut tone hold the top, and each foots out into a low, forked metal base that lands in two small pads on the floor. With posts instead of four legs, chairs can sit at any point along the sides and the ends stay clear for guests to slide in.
Height and size. 29½ in (75 cm), dining height. The 47¼ × 23⅝ in (120 × 60 cm) top works for four, and two tables can be pushed end to end for larger groups.
Where it works. Taproom dining areas, craft beer restaurants, hotel lobby bars with food.
Options. Other lengths and widths, slab patterns, edge colors, post timber and foot finishes are available on request.
