For the part of the taproom where people come to eat, a white top reads as clean and bright against dark walls and tap handles. This sintered stone looks like Calacatta-style marble: white ground, grey veins and thin golden brown lines, but it takes beer, mustard and ketchup without staining the way polished marble would.
A smoked bronze band wraps the top, and under it two broad wedge-shaped pedestals in walnut-tone timber carry the weight. They are wide at the floor and narrow at the top, which makes the table very stable and leaves plenty of leg room at both ends.
Height and size. 29½ in (75 cm) dining height; 47¼ × 23⅝ in (120 × 60 cm) seats four.
Where it works. Brewery restaurants, taproom dining rooms with a full menu, tasting rooms, hotel beer bars.
Care. Wipe with a damp cloth. Stone does not absorb liquids, so condensation rings are easy to remove.
