In winter, coats and bags end up on spare seats and in the aisle. This booth puts them under the guest instead. The seat is a hinged lid that lifts on gas struts to open a deep compartment; the photo shows folded jackets and a handbag stored inside, with the seat held open.
The back is a tall horizontal channel in burgundy vinyl, and the booth runs along a dark brick wall opposite black chairs at a stone-top table.
Construction. Plywood box frame with a hinged upholstered lid and gas struts; HR foam; contract vinyl; black plinth. A lid that rises slowly and stays up means guests can use it without help.
Living with beer. Seat and back are plain wipeable vinyl, and the compartment can be laminate-lined so it wipes out quickly.
Where it works. Taprooms in cold climates, beer halls with long sessions, Korean BBQ and grill concepts that serve craft beer, and any room without a coat check.
Options. Length, back height, vinyl color, storage dividers, single or double-sided. Foam specified to CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
