A set for the warm corner of a taproom, the one by the fire. The booth is an L-shaped dark walnut frame with a bold pink floral-print channel back over a green velvet seat, and a carved-pattern apron below. The armchairs pair a chunky walnut frame with seats and backs in a kilim-style geometric print. Tables are dark wood tops on black cast-iron pedestal bases.
Pieces. Corner booth sized to the room, armchairs, square and rectangular tables.
Construction. Hardwood and plywood booth frame with walnut-tone stain and PU lacquer; HR foam; contract-grade printed fabric and velvet; armchairs in solid hardwood; tables with veneered or solid tops on cast-iron bases with glides.
Living with beer. Patterned fabric hides marks. Specify a performance velvet and print with a stain-resistant finish; covers on the armchairs can be made removable.
Where it works. Fireside corners in brewpubs, beer and cocktail lounges, and destination bars that want one area to feel like a private room.
