The Rail-Height Booth puts booth seating at counter height. The seat is 24 in (61 cm) off the floor to pair with 36 in (91 cm) tables, which makes it ideal for the long, narrow spaces every taproom has: the window rail, the wall behind the bar stools, the strip beside the tank-room glass.
Counter height has two advantages in a taproom. Seated guests are at eye level with people standing at the bar, so the room feels social rather than split into sitters and standers. And a counter booth uses a shallower seat — about 19 in (48 cm) deep — so it fits where a full dining booth won't.
The body sits on a black steel frame of flat uprights and rails, with the seat box projecting slightly beyond it to create a floating shadow line. A 1½ in (4 cm) brass-finish footrail runs 10 in (25 cm) off the floor, so guests have somewhere to rest their feet — a must at this height. A brass-finish strip caps the back.
Standard length is 63 in (160 cm) for two to three guests; runs are made to your wall.
