Back-to-back booths are the densest way to seat a beer hall floor: one shared spine serves two tables. Here the booths are upholstered all over in brown oil-wax leather with deep vertical channels on both back and seat, so they read as one sculpted piece. Quilted metal screens stand at the ends of the bays and split the run into separate groups without blocking the view of the bar.
The tables are black stone-look tops with fine brass inlay lines on dark bases.
Construction. Hardwood and plywood frames; individually filled channels in HR foam; oil-wax leather or a matching contract vinyl; screen panels in quilted metal sheet on slim steel frames; tables in sintered stone or laminate with metal inlay.
Living with beer. Oil-wax leather patinates rather than staining. For a heavy-volume room, specify contract vinyl on the seat and leather on the back.
Where it works. Beer halls, whiskey and craft beer bars, late-night taprooms and lounge areas in brewery venues.
Options. Run length, back height, cover, screen finish, table sizes. Foam specified to CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
