This set dresses the dark end of a beer hall or a whiskey-and-beer bar. The two-seat booths and single club chairs share one recipe: a black leather-look outer shell, a cognac oil-wax leather inner back and seat with a padded roll along the top, and splayed solid wood legs.
Pieces. Two-seat booths that can stand back to back; single lounge chairs with tapered arms; low black-top tables with fine gold inlay lines, rectangular and round; and freestanding screens with a quilted metal panel in a slim frame that divide booth bays.
Construction. Hardwood frames; HR foam; oil-wax leather on contact faces and a vinyl outer shell; solid wood legs with glides; table tops in stone-look sintered slab or laminate with metal inlay on black steel bases.
Living with beer. Oil-wax leather darkens and patinates with use, so spills and scuffs blend into the finish rather than showing as marks. Wipe and condition it; don't soak it.
Where it works. Barrel-aged and stout rooms, whiskey and beer bars, brewery event spaces, and late-night beer halls.
Options. Leather grade and tone, shell color, table finishes, screen panel finish. Foam specified to CAL TB 117-2013 on request.
